If you’re planning to travel to Bakersfield for the West Coast Invitational race in May here's a good better best option for you and your team.
Starting with Bakersfield International (BFL), it's about 10 minutes away from the track. You can simply Uber there or you can have one of your friends pick you up. This is a small airport and flights will be limited.
Third option you can fly into San Jose International (SJC). It’s about 3 hours and 45 minutes to the track. You should probably rent a car.
For Hotels and Breakfast, there are plenty of options around the area but Holiday Inn Express & Suites Bakersfield Airport and Fairfield Inn & Suites Bakersfield North/Airport are only a couple minute drive from the track. You can also use AirBnB as an option as there’s plenty of places to rest.
For Food, There will be Mama Jones….”who?” Mama Jones!! Firing up the grill trackside ya dig!
