Introducing the first in our SlimFlex range of Enhanced Carbon Chassis’, the XRAY T4’20. Tested and developed for over 6 months by our team drivers, we have developed a chassis that we feel improves on the original chassis, especially in low-med traction conditions – which is 90% of most asphalt racing.
We have narrowed the chassis all round to provide less scrubbing in corners, leading to increased corner speed. This increases flex substantially, so to counteract this, we have recessed the diff and spool cutouts instead of cutting them all the way through. Not only does this bring the chassis back up to our desired amount of flex, it also improves aerodynamic performance by not preventing air from under the chassis being forced up into the car, detrimental to handling.
As well as this, we have removed the holes for the short arm blocks. It has been proven in the market that the long arms are superior, and hence we do not see a need for these short arm holes. They compromise the strength and accuracy of the chassis, and also alter the flex characteristics.
Now screwing weight to your car is even easier thanks to our added front weight holes, these can be used to screw our “Weight Shift” Front weights to the chassis, giving you a place to add weight, whilst also being adjustable left/right. You can check these out HERE.
All of these features combined bring you a chassis which is easier to drive, with more traction and faster lap times, as experienced by both our Stock and Modified drivers.
Our chassis are precision cut and countersunk on our CNC machine, in house in Australia from high quality 3K 2.2mm carbon.
